South American Silver Corp. Announces Annual and Special Meeting Results
22 May 2013, Vancouver, British Columbia—South American Silver Corp. (TSX: SAC, US OTCQX : SOHAF) is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions that shareholders were asked to consider at its 2013 Annual and Special Meeting held in Vancouver, B.C., were approved. Six directors were elected at the meeting being Ralph Fitch, Antonio Canton, Paul Haber, Peter Harris, Roman Mironchik and Tina Woodside as returning directors of the Company. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accountants, were re-appointed as the auditors of the Company. Shareholders also approved all unallocated common shares under the Corporation’s share incentive plan; confirmed the amendment to the Corporation's by-laws; and passed a special resolution authorizing changing the name of the Corporation from "South American Silver Corp." to "Solidus Resources Corp."
